Kyoto progress

In my last blog post, I had asked if anyone wanted to see my progress of Kyoto. Since I did get someone replying that they would like to see it, here are some pictures of where I am so far.

I'm not very thrilled with this project. I don't like the coverage of the thread over the 11 count fabric. I'm hoping when I wash it once completed, I will be happier with it once the printing washes away.

    I think it looks good and I hope you like it better when you wash it after as well. It's a challenge with the large counts. I found I had to use a lot more thread than I wanted on my current afghan project too.

    I think it looks good. It should look less blocky when it's washed because the threads will blend at the corners more.

    Looking great! Funny thing... I was just looking at some designs from China this morning that said it was preprinted and wondering what they looked like. Now I know. ;)
